ADO.Net




  1. ADO stands for ActiveX Data Objects
  2. ADO.NET is a technology integrated with .NET Framework used to provide communication between the application system and database server.
  3. ADO.NET is a part of the .NET Framework
  4. ADO.NET consists of a pack of classes which are used to communicate with the database server
  5. ADO.NET utilizes XML to read/store and convey data between the applications
